| WOW XANGA...I haven't used this thing in a while...WELL THEN!!! It was 5 days ago but i'm still giddy at the fact that precon turned out so wonderful!!! MTL west band (the one that I'm in) really surprised a lot of people...Although I came late, I managed to say hello to some Ottawa friends of mine but did not have any time to converse with them or catch up since the last time I saw them...There was like 200 kids at precon...HOLY GLORIOUS MYSTERIES THAT'S A LOT!!! Something bothered me about this precon though...I don't know exactly what, a whole slew of things actually...It was very disorganized, especially the sports...I managed to squeeze in a game of volleyball and cheered on the MTL WEST basketball teams but it seemed really random...Like I said I was late, the 2 precon songs were "THE REASON I LIVE" and "SON OF GOD". Son of God was really good but "REASON I LIVE" was really weird...If ya'll haven't heard it, it's a punk song, with a punk beat...It's really not meant to be played for a worship song...Worship songs are supposed move something in you and make you sing your lungs out to GOD and take you to a higher level spiritually...During the worship, I was too busy trying to figure out which syllables to say and how to pronunciate words...And i'm telling you about 80% of the kids felt the same way too...I really enjoy worship, and to get a feeling like that not just from me but from other people who enjoy worship just as much as I do, it's kinda disappointing...NEVERTHELESS I MOVE ON... I don't know maybe it was just me...The creatives were really awesome!!! PROPS TO THE MTL WEST DANCE CREW for coming in first!!! And MTL EAST for original song...I came in second for original song...Although I came second though, a couple of things made this one really special...One of the judges, an amazingly talented guitarist came up to me and gave my song so many praises!!! He said that it would be something heard on the radio!!! OH OH and 4 or 5 people from Ottawa came up to me shook my hand and said they really enjoyed my song and it ROCKED!!! That beats winning anyday!!! The first creative was band, I was really tired because I had to cab to John Abbot and I played volleyball...Also, I hard a freaken hard time setting up for band...We were the first ones to go on and I had to setup my guitar and pedals, the bass, 2 rythm guitars and arrange the vocalists...That's tough for one guy to do in short amount of time...It would have been nice if I had some help from someone...But man, when we played our 3 songs, IT WAS SO AWESOME!!! I was so happy that everything turned out the way they did...I'm so proud of everyone in the band, we had a lot of obstacles to climb but we pulled it off!!! AND EVERYONE THOUGH YOU GUYS WERE SO HOT!!! THANKS TO AJ, ELLISH, ELLEN, CYRA, AGATHA, HANNAH AND LEXI for cooperating and seeing things from my perspective YOU GUYS ROCK!!! INSHALLAH RULES!!! THE GOD GANGSTER WORSHIPPERS!!! WOOHOO!!! TIL next time!
